Family Pictures

Grammy and Papa came to visit!!! I will post more on their visit later as Grammy is still here!!! However, Papa had to leave early, but before he left we took some photos!

Just so you know, Oliver stayed at home this fine evening with his Aunt Annie and Uncle Dax because it got a little chilly, but still a great pic, just wish he would have been in it!!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!! What an awesome Christmas for us!!! It was amazing! It started out with us sprinkling reindeer food outside so Santa's reindeer had a little snack when they arrived!

Then, we had to put out Santa's key so he could get into our house since we don't have a chimney!

We put out Silk Milk and cookies!
Finally, the time had come....Christmas morning!!!
Parker was very happy that Santa liked his milk even though it is "not like other kids milk!"
This is what Oliver did pretty much all of Christmas!! What a life!
I bet this doesn't look exactly like your Christmas day, but this is what we did all day! Play, play and play a little more with our friends...OUTSIDE IN THE SUN!!!
This might look a little more familiar! Daddy put together tons of toys that day, but this one was probably the most labor intensive....
and he did a great job!!!

Oliver Makaio Nelson

Welcome Baby Oliver! On December 8, 2011 at 7:07am, we Nelson's welcomed our newest addition, Oliver Makaio! He is such a joy and blessing! I am sure you are wondering where we came up with his name, well we love the name Oliver and Makaio is Hawaiian for Matthew, Jeremy's brother! So Oliver is named after his awesome Uncle Matthew! Jeremy was unable to be there for the birth but landed on island about 5 hours later!!

The rainbow outside the window when Oliver tumbled into the world!

Tis the season...

Ahh the holidays!! So, it didn't exactly feel like the Christmas season here in Hawaii but it sure looked like it, thanks to my boys! They did a great job decorating the tree and the house...Parker only broke one bulb!! Not too shabby!!

Aloha Grandma and Papa

Mid November also brought company our way, this time it was Grandma and PaPa! Parker was soooo excited! This was a great visit for us as Grandma and Papa have been to this island a hundred times and they were able to show us things we never knew about! They got to play tour guides and we got to sit back and relax!
We did go to Sea Life Park because one morning Parker woke up and told his PaPa he wanted to see dolphins! For those of you who don't know, Sea Life Park is where they filmed some of the movie 50 First Dates!!
Our arrival....
Grandma and Parker checking out the sharks...

Sting Rays...

Papa and Parker taking in the sea turtles...

Penguins...
Dolphins...
Just lovin life with Grandma and Papa!
Thought I would include this picture...interesting... where is Parker? Is that really Annie and PaPa playing trains together?? I guess all in all a good trip!!

Aloha Judy and Ran!

Well living in Hawaii has its perks! Not only is it beautiful, warm, and lovely all year round, but TONS of people come to visit you when you live here and WE LOVE IT! Late October brought Aunt Judy and Uncle Ran to our neck of the woods to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary! While here, we did lots of different things and took pictures of it all! Judy took over 150 pictures while she was here, I chose a few to give you a little insight to the fun we had...
Parker greeted them in the airport with a traditional lei welcome...
Uncle Ran taught Parker to peddle his bike in about 10 minutes (something Jeremy and I had told him to do for the past 2 months)...
We took in a luau...
...and while at the luau, Judy and Ran were called up on stage and serenaded by the host because they were the couple that had been married the longest of any couple there!! It was awesome!
They were given lei's for their participation at the luau...
We ate at one of our favorite local spots on the island...
Saw beautiful scenery and posed for pictures....
Took in North Shore fun!!
Finally, we had to have a cocktail at the famous Duke's Barefoot Bar!!
All in all a great trip and we cannot wait until they come back to visit us soon!!
